Cayman Enterprise City (CEC) is Cayman knowledge-based Special Economic Zone being developed in Grand Cayman. It will consist of a state-of-the-art campus consisting of 5 business parks. Whilst the main campus is being constructed CEC is already welcoming international companies in several existing commercial buildings in George Town, which have been designated by the Cayman Islands Government as zone space. Companies from the following key sectors can be licensed in the zone: Internet & Technology, Media & Marketing, Commodities & Derivatives, Biotech and Academia & Training.

International companies establishing within the Zone benefit from a raft of concessions granted by the Cayman Islands Government which include: 100% foreign ownership, 100% exemption from income tax, corporate taxes and capital gains tax, 100% exemption from import duties, and 5 year Work/Residency visas granted for staff. CEC provides a guaranteed 10 day fast-track set-up of operations including obtaining the Trade Certificate and Work Visas for foreign employees. Cayman Enterprise City allows international companies to have a real physical presence and offices in the Cayman Islands, to generate active business income from this tax neutral jurisdiction.
