Divers, pioneers, promoters and protectors of the environment are just a few of the words that can be used to describe the individuals and groups that have been inducted into the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. The ISDHF Board of Directors recognises the contribution that our inductees have had on the sport of scuba diving and through this contribution, scuba diving has blossomed into a successful sport, business and research tool today.

The number may grow every year with each new class, but one thing remains the same after all this time. Every single last person on this list has done something to elevate the sport of diving.

Along with our yearly inductees, we also award a number of respected people who serve the local Caymanian diving community, as honourees. The stories behind the names on this list are all quite something to read.

Previous Early Pioneers

Previous Early Pioneers

The Early Pioneers are those persons and organizations whose technologies brought the required elements for the launch of sport diving. Before the rest of us could go deeper than we had ever gone before, there were divers that blazed a trail all the way from land to sea. These are the first of the first and they are the best of the best.

Do you know someone who has led or aided in the development, promotion, or safety of scuba diving that has had an impact on the overall sport?
If so, please submit their name for consideration to induction of the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame.
